My passion is to breed beautiful black Arabian horses at my stud farm Salling Arabians.
Black Arabians that are a pleasure with their inner and outer beauty.

The trend of the second millennium is long-legged extravagant Arabians.
Tall Arabians with exceptional good temperament for riders.
With beauty and correct stature for show and further breeding.
Black. The exceptional and sought after colour among Arabian horses.

Black Arabians of Denmark

Salling Arabians is located near the coast of the Limfjord, with sight over the water and in a wonderful hilly landscape. It is 22 km west of Skive.

I, Mai Mortensen founded the stud farm on the 1st of November 1986.
In the summer of 1990 I imported the black stallion Shah Noir from USA.
Shah Noir was the first black Arabian stallion ever in Denmark.
Today there is 11 pure bred Arabians in the stable. Four of them are black Arabians.

At Salling Arabians I also have horses in pension. I can offer facilities for training dressage and there is a wonderful nature for trailriding. See prices at the page Saleslist.
