Black Arabians of Denmark

Salling Arabians is located near the coast of the Limfjord, 22 km west of Skive,
with view over the seaside and the hilly landscape.

I, Mai Mortensen founded the stud farm on the 1st of November 1986.

In the summer of 1990 I imported the black stallion Shah Noir from USA.
Shah Noir was the very first black Arabian stallion ever in Denmark.
Today the genes for producing pure bred BLACK ARABIAN horses
is passed on to his ofspring in Denmark and many other contries.
